My lawyer says what I’m asking for is unreasonable and that I cannot win my Texas divorce case. Should I fire him?
Maybe, maybe not. Without knowing more, it’s impossible to say. In some cases, lawyers don’t want to do the legwork, and expect you to simply accept what’s standard or typical, not what’s appropriate in your case. Your lawyer could also be giving you the cold, hard facts. A good lawyer will be honest with you, tell you whether or not what you want is realistic, and give you clear and specific evidence to support their opinion. We always recommend a second opinion, and would be happy to provide it.
