Gary Hanes
Fort Worth Estate Planning

Although not an attorney myself, I work with our attorneys and staff daily to achieve estate planning and business goals for our clients. I wear many hats with the firm, as there are many components to estate planning. To many estate planning is creating a document that passes what you want, when you want, to those you want. Although that works for some, estate planning is a very complex area and encompasses much more for others. In my opinion estate planning deals with many elements such as personal possessions, real estate, investments, retirement plans, corporate partnerships, business interest, corporate succession plans, buy sell agreements, asset protection, and Medicaid planning to name a few. Likely anything you think of as a vital or sentimental part of your life should be included in your estate plan. We want to help families avoid costly mistakes and preserve assets by protecting beneficiaries from divorce, predators, creditors, and lawsuits, while avoiding costly mistakes created with blended families and probate. “One Size” does not fit all, planning is easy for some and more complex with others.
I work as an Estate Planning Consultant. As such, I help educate through workshops and various public speaking engagements. I also act as a liaison between the attorney, client, and staff throughout the entire process. Together we search all possible solutions to achieve client goals from concept to completion. I dedicate most of my time on communication, trust design, and drafting. It is my responsibility to implement your verbal and conceptual desires to trust design to protect you and your loved ones. Besides precise language, drafting requires properly implementing client concepts and forethought before composing. To create a customized plan, we need to understand the direction, provisions, and overall vision of our client and clearly and concisely implement that in legal language.
